Abstract

O texto aborda as funções dos antropônimos advindos de abreviações na forma de alfabetismos, os quais são formados por uma sequência de letras soletradas, como em ‘JK’ (Juscelino Kubitschek), ['ƷƆ.tɐ.'ke], e ‘CR’ (Cristiano Ronaldo), [‘se.'Ɛ.xI]. Os dados foram recolhidos sobretudo do X (antigo Tweeter), Instagram e Facebook. O corpus conta hoje com cerca de duzentos dados. A análise é feita com base na morfologia construcional (Booij, 2010), uma vez que entendemos tais abreviações, como quaisquer outros nomes (antropônimos, hipocorísticos, oniônimos etc.) como construções gramaticais, ou seja, como pareamentos forma-significado. Defendemos, no texto, que há uma herança por subparte (Goldberg, 1995) do prenome para sua abreviação. Defendemos a existência de um molde prosódico atuando como parte da hierarquia construcional.
