Abstract

Tekanan dan tuntutan lingkungan akademik dapat memengaruhi kesehatan mental mahasiswa, termasuk di STIKES Griya Husada Sumbawa. Pentingnya peran pendidikan agama Islam dalam mendukung kesehatan mental mahasiswa menjadi fokus utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung kesehatan mental, khususnya peran pendidikan agama Islam. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 30 mahasiswa dari program studi Kesehatan Masyarakat, Keperawatan, dan Kebidanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang aktif dalam kegiatan keagamaan memiliki tingkat stres yang lebih rendah dan dukungan sosial yang lebih baik. Pendidikan agama Islam berfungsi sebagai faktor pelindung yang meningkatkan ketahanan mental mahasiswa. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi pendidikan agama dengan program kesehatan mental di kampus untuk menciptakan lingkungan akademik yang mendukung kesejahteraan mahasiswa
