Introduction

Pengembangan modul otomatisasi surat tugas pada sistem informasi penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat politeknik negeri sambas. Modul otomatisasi surat tugas di Sistem Informasi Penelitian & Pengabdian Politeknik Negeri Sambas. Tingkatkan efisiensi administrasi, percepat proses, dan transparansi dengan sistem online Laravel.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Sambas saat ini telah mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat, namun sistem tersebut masih memiliki beberapa keterbatasan fungsional. Beberapa masalah utama yang teridentifikasi adalah belum adanya fitur untuk melakukan pengajuan dan pengaksesan surat tugas penelitian dan pengabdian yang telah diterbitkan secara otomatis. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dilakukan optimalisasi sistem melalui pengembangan modul otomatisasi surat tugas penelitian dan pengabdian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Waterfall dan teknologi Laravel dipilih sebagai framework pengembangan utama untuk meningkatkan reusability code dan memastikan kompatibilitas antar platform. Solusi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mempercepat proses administrasi, serta meningkatkan kepuasan dosen dan peneliti dalam mengakses layanan P3M. Dengan adanya sistem ini, proses pengajuan, verifikasi, hingga penerbitan surat tugas dapat dilakukan secara online, lebih transparan, dan terdokumentasi dengan baik. Hasil akhir dari sistem ini adalah sistem berhasil mengintegrasikan berbagai pemangku kepentingan dengan peran dan fungsi yang jelas, mulai dari dosen sebagai pengusul surat tugas, admin sebagai pengelola operasional, pimpinan sebagai otoritas persetujuan, hingga penerima tugas sebagai target akhir distribusi dokumen. Implementasi fitur-fitur seperti pengajuan online, upload dokumen, verifikasi digital, dan sistem notifikasi otomatis menunjukkan adopsi teknologi informasi yang mendukung efisiensi dan transparansi proses administratif.
