Abstract

Perancangan tugas akhir ini berupa buku resep “Petualangan Bibi dan Bubu edisi masakan Jawa” untuk anak usia 8-11 tahun, bertujuan sebagai media informasi tentang resep masakan Jawa. Buku ini menggunakan teknik ilustrasi digital, membahas bahan dan cara memasak masakan Jawa. Media interaktif dalam buku ini dirancang untuk mengajak pembaca berpartisipasi. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, studi pustaka, dan perancangan buku dengan metode design thinking. Data menunjukkan bahwa kesibukan orang tua di era modern mengurangi perhatian terhadap perkembangan motorik anak dan minimnya pengetahuan tentang budaya masakan Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian untuk perancangan buku ini adalah, buku ini dapat menjadi media yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hubungan antara orang tua dan anak melalui kegiatan memasak.

Ultimately, the research concludes that this meticulously designed recipe book serves as an effective medium for strengthening parent-child relationships through collaborative cooking activities. This finding highlights the practical significance of the project in promoting family cohesion, cultural preservation, and the acquisition of essential life skills. The "Auntie and Bubu's Adventures" series, therefore, presents a valuable contribution to the field of educational media design, offering an innovative and culturally relevant solution to contemporary societal challenges.
