Abstract

Review

The paper, titled "Peran Stakeholder dalam Meningkatkan Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan" (The Role of Stakeholders in Enhancing Educational Quality Management), proposes to explore the critical influence of various stakeholders in shaping the quality of educational administration. The abstract immediately posits that educational quality is profoundly dependent on the concerted efforts of all involved parties, ranging from internal actors such as teachers and principals to external ones like parents, the wider community, and local government. It argues for the necessity of unifying internal and external efforts to cultivate a learning environment that is student-friendly, creative, and responsive to student needs, setting a clear scope for the study's focus on comprehensive stakeholder engagement. The abstract details the mechanisms through which stakeholder involvement contributes to quality improvement. It highlights that active participation in the design, execution, and evaluation of educational programs can unlock crucial moral, financial, and expert support, thereby facilitating the achievement of educational objectives. Specific examples provided include professional development for teachers, active parental participation in school activities, and community support for learning facilities. The text emphasizes that clear communication, a strong sense of ownership, and collaborative efforts in defining and implementing the educational vision and mission are prerequisites for success. This underscores a holistic and integrated approach to educational quality management. While underscoring the benefits, the abstract also acknowledges pertinent challenges, such as weak participation, resource limitations, and initial resistance to change. Despite these hurdles, the central assertion remains that high-quality and sustainable education is only attainable through synergistic collaboration among all concerned parties: government, schools, families, and the community. The paper thus positions the mutual empowerment and tangible collaboration of these stakeholders as essential for fostering an adaptive, innovative, and ultimately superior educational system. In conclusion, the abstract powerfully articulates that the success of improving educational quality hinges on the unwavering commitment and active participation of every individual within the school's ecosystem, laying a strong foundation for an important discussion in educational policy and practice.
