The purpose of this research is to examine the legal consequences of unilaterally withdrawing a report of a general criminal offense by the complainant at the Pati Police Resort (Polres Pati). The urgency of this research is that filing a complaint is the right of the victim to initiate or not initiate prosecution because it concerns the interests of the victim. Therefore, in criminal cases involving complaints, a specific period for withdrawing the complaint is provided for in Article 75 of the Criminal Code. The research method used is normative juridical. The results of this study indicate that the withdrawal of a report in criminal law is primarily regulated in Article 75 of the Criminal Code. The application of Article 75 of the Criminal Code, in its developmental context, is limited to extraordinary cases and does not extend to ordinary criminal offenses. The legal impact of unilaterally withdrawing a report of a general criminal offense by the complainant at the Pati Police Resort (Polres Pati) is generally allowed in the context of ongoing investigations but does not hinder the continuation of the investigation. The paper "Pelaksanaan Pencabutan Laporan Tindak Pidana Umum Secara Sepihak Oleh Pelapor" addresses a pertinent and practically significant issue within Indonesian criminal procedure: the unilateral withdrawal of criminal offense reports by complainants. The research effectively outlines its purpose, which is to examine the legal consequences of such withdrawals at the local police resort level, specifically Polres Pati. The urgency articulated—that reporting is a victim's right and that specific provisions like Article 75 of the Criminal Code exist for complaint offenses—underscores the relevance of this study in understanding the interplay between victim autonomy and state prosecution in the Indonesian legal context. The use of a normative juridical method is appropriate for analyzing legal provisions and their application. Employing a normative juridical approach, the study effectively delves into the legal framework surrounding report withdrawals. A key finding is the clear distinction drawn regarding Article 75 of the Criminal Code, which is specifically applicable to "extraordinary cases" (often referring to *delik aduan* or complaint-based offenses) and not to "ordinary criminal offenses" (*delik biasa*). This distinction is critical and highlights the differing nature of criminal offenses in terms of prosecutorial initiation. The research concludes that while a complainant's unilateral withdrawal of a general criminal offense report at Polres Pati is generally permissible during an ongoing investigation, it fundamentally does not impede the continuation of the investigation. This finding strongly suggests that for offenses outside the scope of *delik aduan*, the state's interest in prosecution takes precedence over the complainant's desire to withdraw, a crucial clarification for legal practitioners and victims alike. While providing valuable insights, the abstract implies certain areas that could be further elaborated. For instance, a deeper discussion on the practical implications for victims who withdraw their reports, particularly if they face subsequent pressure or reconciliation attempts, would enhance the paper's policy relevance. Furthermore, while the study focuses on Polres Pati, the abstract doesn't explicitly state if the findings are generalizable across other police jurisdictions in Indonesia, warranting a broader comparative analysis in future research. The paper's strength lies in clarifying the limits of complainant autonomy in halting state prosecution for *delik biasa*. Future work could explore the specific criteria used by investigators at Polres Pati to determine whether an offense falls under "extraordinary" or "ordinary" categories in practice, and examine the procedural steps taken post-withdrawal for both types of offenses.
