This paper addresses a highly relevant topic concerning the intersection of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental management, specifically how these efforts contribute to corporate image. The abstract clearly articulates the company's inherent obligations in CSR, framing it as crucial for social and environmental responsibility, community development, and ultimately, reputation. The research aims to explore this dynamic by analyzing the role of CSR initiatives undertaken by PT Kawasan Industri Makassar, with a focus on their impact on the company's social and environmental standing. The qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, observation, and documentation, appears well-suited for an in-depth, localized case study of this nature. A notable strength of this work lies in its direct engagement with a real-world case, offering practical insights into CSR implementation. The abstract effectively highlights specific initiatives—the greening movement and infiltration wells—demonstrating a tangible commitment to environmental stewardship. The reported outcomes, such as benefits to the local community, improved company-community relationships, and an enhanced corporate image, underscore the positive impact of these programmes. The mixed data collection methods are also a positive aspect, suggesting a robust approach to gathering comprehensive information about the company's activities and their perceived effects. While the study provides valuable insights into the positive outcomes of CSR at PT Kawasan Industri Makassar, a more critical examination or deeper theoretical engagement could further enhance its contribution. The abstract primarily presents the positive effects, and future iterations of the full paper might benefit from exploring potential challenges, the sustainability of these impacts, or how the "improved image" is quantitatively or qualitatively measured beyond anecdotal evidence. Furthermore, acknowledging the inherent limitations of a single-case qualitative study regarding generalizability, and perhaps discussing how these findings relate to broader CSR theories or frameworks, would strengthen the scholarly impact. Nevertheless, this research offers a compelling illustration of corporate commitment to social and environmental responsibility and its subsequent reputational benefits.
