Abstract

Minyak kelapa murni (Virgin Coconut Oil/VCO) termasuk produk pangan fungsional yang semakin diminati konsumen sebayi diyakini mengandung manfaat kesehatan. Seiring meningkatnya permintaan, transparansi informasi melalui label kemasan menjadi aspek penting untuk menjamin keamanan, mutu, dan perlindungan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepatuhan label produk VCO yang beredar di pasaran terhadap regulasi yang ditentukan oleh Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) dan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) 7381:2022. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan ialah observasional melalui pendekatan analisis isi (content analysis), di mana enam sampel produk VCO dikumpulkan dari daerah dan perkotaan. Setiap label dievaluasi menggunakan checklist kepatuhan berdasarkan ketentuan PerBPOM No.1 Tahun 2022, serta SNI 7381:2022. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar produk telah mencantumkan informasi dasar seperti nama produk, nama produsen,petunjuk penyimpanan. Namun, masih terdapat ketidakpatuhan pada aspek Informasi Nilai Gizi, tanggal kadarluasa dan klaim kesehatan yang belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan persyaratan regulasi. Tingkat kepatuhan pada produk daerah berkisar 42% dan produk kota berkisar 73%, Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengawasan berkelanjutan serta peningkatan kesadaran produsen untuk mematuhi ketentuan label pangan. Penelitian ini harapanya bisa dijadikan rekomendasi untuk industri pangan dan otoritas terkait dalam meningkatkan mutu dan daya saing produk VCO di pasar domestik maupun ekspor.
