Development of digital comic media based on local wisdom with the theme of love indonesia in elementary school. Kembangkan komik digital berbasis kearifan lokal bertema Cinta Indonesia untuk SD. Media pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia ini terbukti valid, sangat layak, & meningkatkan minat siswa.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media komik digital berbasis kearifan lokal yang valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation (ADDIE). Subjek penelitian dalam ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 2 Tambakrigadung. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi ahli media dan lembar validasi materi serta angket respons siswa dan angket aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) validasi ahli materi memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 3.78 yang tergolong sangat valid dan validasi ahli media memperoleh skor rata-rata 3.83 yang juga tergolong sangat valid. (2) angket respons siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 3.61 dengan kategori sangat baik, sedangkan angket aktivitas siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 3.80 dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media komik digital berbasis kearifan lokal valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar.
This research presents a valuable endeavor in the realm of educational technology, focusing on the development of digital comic media infused with local wisdom, specifically themed "Love Indonesia," for Indonesian language instruction in elementary schools. The study’s objective to create valid and feasible learning media aligns well with contemporary educational trends emphasizing engaging, culturally relevant resources. Employing the widely recognized Research and Development (R&D) methodology, specifically the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), provides a structured and systematic approach to the development process, laying a solid foundation for the research's claims. A significant strength of this study lies in its comprehensive validation process. The abstract reports robust results from both expert validation and user feedback. Expert validation, encompassing material and media aspects, yielded impressive average scores of 3.78 and 3.83 respectively, both categorized as "very valid." This high level of expert endorsement strongly supports the quality and pedagogical soundness of the developed digital comic media. Furthermore, student responses and activity assessments also indicated overwhelmingly positive feedback, with average scores of 3.61 ("very good") for responses and 3.80 ("very good") for activities. These findings collectively affirm that the digital comic media based on local wisdom is not only well-designed from an expert perspective but also highly engaging and well-received by the target elementary school students, thereby fulfilling the study's aim of developing valid and feasible learning tools. While the study successfully demonstrates the validity and feasibility of the digital comic media within the scope of its investigation at SDN 2 Tambakrigadung, future iterations or related research could further explore its broader impact and generalizability. For instance, the abstract does not elaborate on the specific aspects of "local wisdom" integrated into the comics, which could be a rich area for discussion regarding cultural pedagogy. Although the current findings are highly promising for enriching Indonesian language learning, extending the implementation to a larger sample of schools or across different grade levels, and potentially conducting a comparative effectiveness study against traditional teaching methods, would provide deeper insights into its sustained efficacy and scalability. Nevertheless, this research provides a strong foundation and a commendable contribution to the field of educational media development, offering a culturally resonant and engaging resource for elementary students.
