Pelanggaran tata tertib siswa masih menjadi permasalahan di SMP Negeri 44 Semarang, dengan komunikasi antara sekolah dan orang tua yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem pelaporan pelanggaran siswa berbasis web dengan notifikasi otomatis melalui Telegram. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah prototype, mencakup tahapan perancangan, pengembangan, dan pengujian menggunakan black-box testing. Sistem dibangun menggunakan PHP, MySQL, API Telegram, dan Ngrok. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat mencatat pelanggaran dan mengirim notifikasi ke orang tua dalam waktu kurang dari 10 detik. Sistem ini meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi dan keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembinaan siswa. Evaluasi pengguna menunjukkan penerimaan positif terhadap kemudahan penggunaan dan kecepatan sistem. Sistem ini berpotensi dikembangkan lebih lanjut dan diintegrasikan ke sistem manajemen sekolah lainnya
This paper presents a timely and practical solution to the persistent challenge of student discipline and communication gaps between schools and parents, specifically within SMP Negeri 44 Semarang. The authors propose and develop a web-based student violation reporting system that leverages Telegram for automated parent notifications. Employing a prototype development methodology, encompassing design, development, and black-box testing phases, the study aims to enhance the effectiveness of communication and parental engagement. The initiative to automate such a crucial administrative task holds significant potential for improving operational efficiency and fostering a more collaborative environment for student development. The core contribution of this work lies in its successful implementation of a functional system built with contemporary web technologies, including PHP, MySQL, and the Telegram API, alongside Ngrok for testing. The reported results are encouraging, indicating that the system can record violations and dispatch notifications to parents within a commendable timeframe of less than 10 seconds. This efficiency directly addresses the identified communication lag, enhancing both its speed and consistency. Furthermore, the positive user evaluation regarding ease of use and system speed strongly supports the practical utility and user-friendliness of the developed solution, underscoring its immediate benefits in boosting communication effectiveness and parental involvement in student guidance. While the system demonstrates clear immediate utility and positive user acceptance, the review suggests avenues for future development and deeper academic rigor. Future iterations could benefit from a more comprehensive long-term evaluation of its impact on student behavior and parental engagement, perhaps through quantitative metrics beyond qualitative positive reception. Considerations for system scalability and security, especially when handling sensitive student data, should also be thoroughly explored if wider deployment or integration with broader school management systems is pursued, as hinted in the abstract. Nevertheless, this study provides a solid foundation and a practical blueprint for schools seeking to modernize their disciplinary communication processes, offering a valuable step towards improved school-parent collaboration.
