The submitted abstract outlines a pertinent legal inquiry into the protection of employee-inventors' rights within the context of patent ownership agreements. Recognizing employees as core assets driving industrial innovation, the paper highlights their crucial role in developing inventions funded by the company, which can mature into valuable patents. The central problem addressed by this research revolves around the intricacies of conditional agreements between employees and companies concerning the economic rights derived from these patents. The primary objective is to identify and articulate the legal safeguards available to employee-inventors through such conditional patent ownership agreements. Methodologically, the study employs a normative juridical approach, relying on primary legal materials, specifically statutory regulations, to form its foundational analysis. The use of a statute approach is intended to assess the consistency between existing legislative frameworks and the 'soft law' principles governing intellectual property rights. The research yields significant findings, positing that well-structured conditional agreements can substantially enhance employee participation and contribution to corporate innovation. Crucially, it establishes the potential for employee inventions to serve as assets generating passive income. The study emphasizes the imperative for inventors to receive compensation from the commercialization of their inventions by the company, necessitating detailed and explicit conditional agreements that clearly stipulate fair royalty amounts and mechanisms for ensuring the inventor's continued economic rights and overall protection as the patent owner. This research makes a valuable contribution by shedding light on a critical area at the intersection of employment law and intellectual property rights. Its focus on defining robust legal protection for employee-inventors is vital for fostering innovation environments that are both productive for companies and equitable for individual creators. By advocating for meticulously crafted conditional agreements, the study provides a practical framework for addressing potential conflicts and ensuring fair compensation, thereby encouraging greater employee engagement in inventive activities. While the abstract strongly articulates the *need* for such detailed agreements, further research could delve into comparative legal frameworks across different jurisdictions or analyze specific case studies to illustrate the practical implementation and enforceability of such protections. Overall, the paper effectively highlights the strategic importance of recognizing and legally safeguarding the economic interests of employee-inventors, potentially serving as a significant reference for policymakers and corporate legal departments.
