Abstract

Neste artigo, me proponho a discutir os limites da categoria “eu lírico”, a partir de uma leitura crítica de uma poética ameríndia, os cantos xamânicos dos Marubo, traduzidos pelo antropólogo Pedro Cesarino (2011; 2013). Tendo em vista a importância da dimensão pragmática ao debate, num primeiro momento será apresentada a relação entre cosmovisão marubo e a ayahuasca, a fim, também, de introduzir a noção de pessoa em causa. Após, retomando algumas sistematizações em torno do eu lírico na modernidade (Hamburguer, 1975), o olhar comparativo será mobilizado, para refletir sobre as distinções ontológicas e seus desdobramentos enunciativos, considerando a relação sujeito e objeto. No decorrer da análise, serão enfocados dois fragmentos de cantos marubo, um de narrativa mítica (saiti) e um iniki, gênero poético determinado por ser fala de outrem. Ao final, como maneira de alinhavar a discussão, serão retomados os seguintes pontos: a presença da ayahuasca no sociocosmo marubo, a importância de compreender as diferenças e os encontros em jogo e, por fim, a possibilidade de outras leituras da própria categoria de eu lírico, a partir de uma mirada ontológica.
