Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan produk dan mengetahui kelayakan produk e-modul desain busana kerja menggunakan Ibis Paint X. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Four-D), yaitu Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan) dan Disseminate (penyebaran). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan wawancara, observasi dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian berupa e-modul desain busana kerja menggunakan Ibis Paint X. Kelayakan materi memperoleh rata-rata persentase 94,6% dan kelayakan media memperoleh rata-rata persentase 91,2% hasil kelayakan materi dan media dinyatakan dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik” dan e-modul layak untuk diuji cobakan. Uji coba (praktikalitas) dilakukan kepada 31 peserta didik. Uji coba kelompok kecil oleh 3 peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata persentase 88% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”, Uji coba kelompok sedang oleh 8 peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata persentase 93,5% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik” Uji coba kelompok besar oleh 20 peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata persentase 95,2% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik” dan uji coba kepada guru memperoleh rata-rata persentase 99% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Dengan demikian produk e-modul desain busana kerja menggunakan Ibis Paint X yang dibuat oleh peneliti layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. This paper presents a Research and Development (R&D) study focused on creating and evaluating an e-module for workwear design using Ibis Paint X. The primary objective was to develop a digital learning tool tailored for Class X Fashion Design students at SMK Pariwisata Imelda Medan and to assess its feasibility and appropriateness for use in vocational education. This initiative addresses the growing need for innovative and accessible digital learning resources, particularly in practical subjects like fashion design, by leveraging a popular and intuitive digital drawing application. The research employed the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), ensuring a systematic approach to product creation. Data collection involved interviews, observation, and questionnaires, with analysis performed using descriptive quantitative methods. The findings demonstrate a high level of feasibility for the developed e-module. Material feasibility received an average score of 94.6%, and media feasibility scored 91.2%, both categorized as "Sangat Baik" (Very Good). Practicality trials, conducted with 31 students, further supported these results: small group trials (3 students) yielded 88%, medium group trials (8 students) 93.5%, and large group trials (20 students) 95.2%, all rated "Sangat Baik." Additionally, a teacher trial reported an impressive 99% satisfaction rate, affirming the e-module's high quality and suitability for pedagogical application. Overall, this study makes a valuable contribution by successfully developing a highly practical and well-received e-module for digital fashion design. The robust evaluation process, encompassing both content and media aspects, alongside multi-stage user trials with students and teachers, provides strong evidence for the e-module's effectiveness and readiness for implementation. The use of Ibis Paint X is particularly noteworthy, as it offers a modern, accessible, and engaging platform for students to acquire essential digital design skills relevant to the contemporary fashion industry. This e-module thus holds significant potential to enhance learning experiences, foster creativity, and equip vocational students with practical competencies in digital fashion illustration.
