Efektivitas e-modul kimia dasar dalam konteks perikanan berbantuan quizizz pada mahasiswa prodi sosial ekonomi perikanan . Penelitian ini menguji efektivitas e-modul Kimia Dasar berbasis perikanan dengan Quizizz pada mahasiswa Sosial Ekonomi Perikanan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan hasil belajar.
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran Kimia Dasar melalui e-modul berbasis konteks perikanan yang didukung oleh platform interaktif Quizizz. Penelitian termasuk dalam kategori pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest dan melibatkan 31 mahasiswa Program Studi Sosial Ekonomi Perikanan. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 47,62 meningkat menjadi 87,50 pada posttest. Seluruh mahasiswa memperoleh skor di atas 75, dengan mayoritas berada pada kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual dan digital mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep kimia dasar secara signifikan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa integrasi e-modul kontekstual dengan dukungan teknologi interaktif terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa di bidang perikanan.
This paper presents an investigation into the effectiveness of a fisheries-contextualized e-module for Basic Chemistry, supplemented by the interactive Quizizz platform, on the learning outcomes of students in a Social Economic Fisheries program. The study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design with 31 students, reporting a substantial increase in average test scores from 47.62 to 87.50, with all participants achieving scores above 75. The authors conclude that this integrated contextual and digital learning approach is effective in significantly improving students' understanding of basic chemistry concepts. The research demonstrates several strengths, particularly in its pedagogical approach. The contextualization of Basic Chemistry within the fisheries domain is highly commendable, as it directly addresses the relevance of the subject for specialized students, potentially enhancing engagement and understanding. The integration of digital tools, namely an e-module and Quizizz, aligns with modern educational practices and offers a flexible, interactive learning environment. This absence makes it challenging to conclusively attribute the observed gains solely to the e-module and Quizizz intervention, as other factors like historical events, maturation, or test-retest effects cannot be fully ruled out. For future research seeking to establish a stronger causal link of effectiveness, incorporating a quasi-experimental design with a control group would significantly enhance the validity of the conclusions. Additionally, while the abstract indicates an overall increase, delving deeper into which specific chemistry concepts showed the most significant improvement, or exploring the long-term retention of knowledge, could further enrich the study's contributions.
