Design and develop of web-based employee learning management system at pt jaya teknik indonesia. Rancang bangun LMS berbasis web di PT Jaya Teknik Indonesia untuk efektivitas pelatihan karyawan, atasi inefisiensi data, digitalisasi kehadiran, dan integrasi laporan pakai PHP & MySQL.
PT Jaya Teknik Indonesia adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang kontraktor, perdagangan layanan, operasi, dan pemeliharaan mekanikal, sistem pendingin udara, listrik, elektronik (MEE), serta teknologi informasi (IT). Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis web untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pelatihan karyawan di perusahaan tersebut. Saat ini, proses pelatihan tidak terintegrasi dengan sistem ERP perusahaan, menyebabkan inefisiensi dalam pengelolaan data dan pelaporan. Selain itu, pelatihan yang dilakukan secara manual dengan dokumen kertas atau file digital terpisah (PDF, Word, Excel) rentan terhadap kehilangan data dan sulit dipantau. Pengembangan LMS ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL, bertujuan untuk mempercepat proses persetujuan pelatihan, digitalisasi pendataan kehadiran, dan integrasi laporan pelatihan. Hasil penelitian ini mencakup pengembangan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis web, desain antarmuka pengguna dan prototipe sistem yang telah diuji dengan metode Blackbox Testing. Implementasi LMS ini diharapkan mampu mendukung pelatihan karyawan secara lebih efektif, baik di dalam maupun di luar daerah operasional perusahaan.
This paper addresses a highly pertinent issue concerning the inefficiencies in employee training management within PT Jaya Teknik Indonesia, a company operating across diverse technical sectors. The identified problems, including the lack of integration with the existing ERP system, the prevalence of manual documentation, and the consequent challenges in data management, reporting, and monitoring, are common hurdles for organizations undergoing digital transformation. The study's objective to design and develop a web-based Learning Management System (LMS) is a commendable and practical approach to enhance the effectiveness and oversight of employee development, which is vital for maintaining competence in such a complex and evolving industry. The methodology adopted for the LMS development leverages widely accepted web technologies, specifically PHP and MySQL, which are robust choices for building scalable online applications. The proposed system is clearly targeted at resolving specific operational bottlenecks by digitizing attendance, expediting training approval, and integrating training reports, thus moving away from error-prone manual processes. The research successfully delivers a functional web-based LMS, complete with user interface designs and a system prototype, which has undergone validation through Blackbox Testing. This ensures that the system meets its functional requirements from a user perspective, laying a solid foundation for its intended purpose. While the paper presents a valuable contribution by detailing the design and development of a tailored LMS, some areas could benefit from further elaboration for a more comprehensive review.
