Abstract

Artykuł stanowi rekonstrukcję procesu wyposażania mieszczącej się w budynku Szkół Nowodworskich stancji cechu malarzy i pozłotników przez członków tej organizacji oraz późniejszych losów zgromadzonych przedmiotów. Zespół obrazów, gipsatur, dokumentów oraz ruchomości związanych z działalnością kongregacji zebrany w latach 1748–1782, gdy cech pozostawał pod opieką Akademii Krakowskiej, został w późniejszych latach odebrany malarzom i pozłotnikom, a następnie stanowił przedmiot ich interwencji u rektora akademii. Po odzyskaniu ruchomości cech kolejnymi decyzjami doprowadził do całkowitego rozproszenia zespołu pierwotnego wyposażenia stancji.
