This study presents a timely and relevant investigation into the utilization of *Phyllanthus urinaria* (meniran leaf solution) at varying concentrations to improve the hatching rate of common carp eggs. The research addresses a significant challenge in aquaculture by proposing a natural, potentially sustainable alternative to synthetic chemicals for preventing fungal infections and enhancing egg viability. The abstract clearly outlines the objective to analyze the effect of immersion in meniran leaf solution, employing a well-defined experimental design, and indicates a positive and significant outcome. The methodological approach, utilizing a Completely Randomized Design with a control group and three distinct treatment concentrations (4.5, 5, and 5.5 g/L), is appropriate for establishing a dose-response relationship. The application of statistical variance analysis with SPSS version 25 for data processing lends credibility to the findings. The results are compelling, demonstrating a significant positive influence of the meniran leaf solution on the common carp egg hatching rate. Notably, the highest hatching percentage of 84% was achieved at a dose of 5 g/L, a substantial improvement compared to the 64% observed in the control group. This concrete data strongly supports the potential of *Phyllanthus urinaria* as an effective natural agent for enhancing egg hatchability. While the study provides robust evidence for the efficacy of meniran leaf solution, future research could benefit from elucidating the specific active compounds within *Phyllanthus urinaria* responsible for the observed effect and their exact mechanisms of action. Expanding the investigation to include a wider range of concentrations or evaluating its impact on other commercially important fish species would broaden the applicability of these findings. Furthermore, exploring the long-term effects of such treatments on larval survival, growth, and resistance to diseases would offer a more holistic understanding of its overall benefits in aquaculture. Considering the economic feasibility and scalability for practical implementation in larger operations would also be a valuable addition.
