Use of the combo sealer method without a neddle as an innovation in modern circumcision . Explore the needle-free combo sealer method for modern circumcision. This innovation offers minimal pain, faster healing without stitches, and quick recovery for children.
In In the modern era, circumcision methods have undergone many innovations. However, the conventional methods that are still widely used often cause fear in children and slow down the recovery process, thereby disrupting daily activities. One innovative solution is the needle-free combo sealer method, which is minimally painful and accelerates healing. Unfortunately, this method is not yet widely known by the public, particularly in the city of Jambi and the surrounding areas of the Jami'atul Berkah Foundation. On the other hand, economic constraints remain the primary barrier for orphans and the underprivileged in accessing modern circumcision services. This community service initiative aims to assist them through health education and the implementation of circumcision procedures using the combo sealer method. Activities include counseling, informed consent, medication administration, procedures performed by professional medical staff, and outcome evaluation. This method has been proven to produce neater results, minimal bleeding, no stitches or bandages, and allows children to resume activities sooner.
This paper introduces an innovative approach to modern circumcision, the "Combo Sealer Method Without a Needle," designed to mitigate common issues such as fear in children, pain, and prolonged recovery associated with conventional techniques. The abstract effectively highlights the potential benefits of this method, including minimal pain, accelerated healing, neater cosmetic results, and the elimination of stitches and bandages, which collectively contribute to a quicker resumption of daily activities. Furthermore, the initiative's focus on community service, by providing health education and access to modern circumcision for underprivileged children in Jambi, is commendable and addresses a significant public health need within the specified local context. However, the abstract presents itself more as a report on a community service initiative rather than a rigorous scientific study, which limits its suitability as a primary research contribution to a journal. Claims such as "proven to produce neater results" and "minimally painful and accelerates healing" are stated without presenting any empirical data, comparative analysis, or a defined study design to substantiate them. There is a notable absence of objective outcome measures for pain, healing time, or complication rates, nor is there mention of a control group or statistical analysis. Additionally, clarification is needed regarding the "needle-free" aspect, particularly concerning how local anesthesia (implied by "medication administration") is delivered without a needle. The specific details of the "Combo Sealer" device and its mechanism are also not elaborated upon. Despite these limitations in methodological presentation, the concept of a minimally invasive, accelerated recovery circumcision method holds substantial promise for improving patient experience and potentially enhancing public health outcomes. To elevate this work to a robust scientific contribution, it is strongly recommended that a formal research study be designed to rigorously evaluate the "Combo Sealer Method Without a Needle." Such a study should incorporate a clear methodology, quantitative assessment of outcomes (e.g., validated pain scales, objective healing time measurements, complication rates), a direct comparison with conventional methods, and a broader participant group to enhance the generalizability of the findings. A comprehensive scientific evaluation would be essential for broader clinical acceptance and adoption of this innovative technique.
