Abstract: The growing prevalence of online gambling has triggered severe economic and spiritual crises, affecting individuals, families, and communities. This study aims to analyze the role of Christian education in preventing and addressing the destructive impacts of online gambling through a qualitative literature review. Grounded in theological principles and educational theory, Christian education emphasizes core values such as stewardship, self-control, and accountability as foundations for character formation and behavioral prevention. It serves not only as a preventive mechanism but also as a means of recovery by offering spiritual counseling, financial literacy training, and holistic community support. This study employs a qualitative-descriptive method by analyzing relevant theological, pedagogical, and psychosocial literature. The findings reveal that Christian education holds significant transformative potential in integrating moral development, economic stability, and spiritual restoration for individuals affected by online gambling. Key challenges include cultural resistance to faith-based values and limited collaboration between Christian institutions and secular organizations. Nevertheless, opportunities exist to expand Christian education curricula to address contemporary digital issues more contextually. In conclusion, the study affirms that value-based Christian education is not only relevant but essential in responding to the multidimensional crises caused by online gambling. It recommends the development of contextual educational models and further research to assess the long-term impact of such interventions. This paper presents a timely and highly relevant exploration of Christian education's potential role in mitigating the severe economic and spiritual crises associated with the rise of online gambling. The authors clearly articulate the study's aim: to analyze how Christian education, grounded in theological principles and educational theory, can serve as both a preventive measure and a recovery mechanism. By employing a qualitative literature review methodology, the study endeavors to synthesize insights from theological, pedagogical, and psychosocial literature, establishing a robust theoretical foundation for its arguments. The focus on a multifaceted crisis that impacts individuals, families, and communities underscores the urgency and societal importance of the research. The abstract effectively highlights the core strengths of Christian education in this context. It emphasizes its capacity to instill foundational values such as stewardship, self-control, and accountability, which are crucial for character formation and behavioral prevention. Furthermore, the study outlines its role in recovery through practical interventions like spiritual counseling, financial literacy training, and holistic community support, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to addressing the crisis. The findings suggest that Christian education possesses significant transformative potential, capable of integrating moral development, economic stability, and spiritual restoration for those affected by online gambling, thereby offering a holistic and value-based response to a complex contemporary issue. While affirming the essential nature of value-based Christian education, the study also judiciously acknowledges key challenges, including cultural resistance to faith-based values and limitations in collaboration between Christian institutions and secular organizations. These identified obstacles are crucial for understanding the practical implementation of such interventions. However, the paper also points to opportunities, such as expanding curricula to address contemporary digital issues, suggesting actionable pathways forward. The concluding recommendation for developing contextual educational models and conducting further research on long-term impact is a pragmatic and valuable suggestion, inviting continued scholarly inquiry into the efficacy and adaptability of Christian education in responding to modern societal crises.
