Review

The study, "Studi Netnografi Lampung base," tackles a highly relevant and contemporary subject by exploring the multifaceted role of the @lampungbase autobase account within the Lampung community. The research's focus on understanding how such a platform functions as a medium for information dissemination and communication, leveraging netnography, positions it well to contribute meaningfully to the discourse on digital communities and their influence on local social dynamics. By investigating communication patterns, including various types of user-generated content like job postings, recommendations, and social overtures, the study offers valuable insights into the practical applications and social implications of anonymous online platforms. A key strength of this research is its methodological choice of netnography, which is particularly apt for delving into the cultural nuances and communicative practices of online communities. The combination of observation and interviews with community members suggests a thorough approach to data collection, aiming to capture both overt online behaviors and the deeper motivations of users. The abstract highlights compelling preliminary findings, noting that the anonymity offered by the autobase fosters a secure environment for information sharing and social connection, thereby strengthening community bonds. The identification of @lampungbase as both an information platform and a crucial "social bridge" underscores its integral role in facilitating interaction and collaboration among local residents. While the abstract provides a strong overview, the full paper would likely benefit from further elaboration on the specific ethical considerations encountered and addressed when conducting netnography within an anonymous community. A more detailed account of the analytical framework used to classify the diverse 'menfesss' and the depth of the qualitative analysis would also enhance the study's academic rigor. The recommendation for education on social media communication ethics is a vital practical takeaway, and expanding on potential strategies for its implementation would be a valuable addition. Nevertheless, this research holds significant promise in illuminating the complex interplay between social media, anonymity, and community building, offering both academic and practical insights into modern local digital interactions.
