Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menelaah dan menggabungkan berbagai pendekatan, temuan, dan desain penelitian kuantitatif guna membentuk pemahaman menyeluruh mengenai tren metodologi yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menyajikan sintesis dari delapan studi terkini (2020–2025), dengan kriteria (1) terbit pada rentang 2020–2025, (2) mewakili topik-topik strategis dalam bidang perpustakaan dan informasi, dan (3) mencakup beragam jenis metodologi penelitian kuantitatif. Analisis difokuskan pada: (1) permasalahan yang diangkat dan tujuan penelitian, (2) desain penelitian dan teknik pengumpulan data, (3) teknik analisis data dan upaya menjaga keabsahan temuan, serta (4) hasil utama, pembahasan, dan kebaruan dari setiap studi. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa para peneliti menyoroti kesenjangan pengetahuan pada konteks lokal atau topik baru (misalnya kurangnya pustakawan data di negara berkembang, minimnya kurikulum preservasi digital, dll.) dan meresponnya dengan pendekatan metodologis beragam seperti survei kuantitatif, analisis konten, bibliometrik, hingga pengembangan model kecerdasan buatan. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peningkatan kompetensi profesional informasi dalam menghadapi transformasi digital. Para peneliti pada bidang ini berupaya menjaga relevansi disiplin ini dengan cara berinovasi pada  metodologi dan memperluas domain kajian.
