Abstract

O artigo intitulado “Políticas editoriais em periódicos da área da Educação: uma análise documental”, de autoria de Matheus Ganiko-Dutra, Kevin Luiz Lopes-Delphino e Caio Augusto Martins Furtado, participantes da avaliação por pares aberta no periódico Educação em Revista, tem por objetivo analisar a relação existente entre as informações disponibilizadas nos sites de periódicos da área de Educação e suas políticas editoriais, bem como problematizar o conceito de “políticas editoriais”. Trata-se de um artigo que apresenta resultados de pesquisa relevante e atual para a área de Educação, especialmente no que diz respeito às políticas editoriais. O manuscrito possui estrutura, organização e coerência textual. O tema e a abordagem estão adequadamente situados em bibliografia atual e atende aos requisitos que se espera de um artigo científico. Os argumentos apresentados pelos autores são plausíveis, em diálogo com o referencial teórico do campo editorial. Quanto ao resumo, foram solicitadas adequações, entre elas, a indicação clara dos resultados alcançados no estudo. Para as considerações finais, foi recomendada a inclusão dos seguintes pontos: retomar o objeto de estudo, apresentar claramente as contribuições da pesquisa e os resultados obtidos. E, na sequência, apresentar as limitações da pesquisa inseridas previamente pelos autores e concluir o artigo, apresentando novas possibilidades para continuidade do estudo. Pelo exposto, considero o manuscrito inspirador, com destaque para algumas considerações relativas aos desafios e perspectivas contemporâneas no campo editorial, a saber: políticas editoriais no contexto da Ciência Aberta, avaliação por pares aberta e a defesa da ética na política editorial.
