PENYULUHAN BAHAYA PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOBA BAGI GENERASI MUDA DI KABUPATEN SUMBAWA

Introduction

Penyuluhan bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba bagi generasi muda di kabupaten sumbawa. Penyuluhan bahaya narkoba untuk generasi muda di Sumbawa. Tingkatkan kesadaran hukum & kesehatan pelajar, bentuk sikap preventif, wujudkan masa depan bebas narkoba.

Abstract

Permasalahan penyalahgunaan narkotika di kalangan remaja, khususnya pelajar, merupakan ancaman serius terhadap kualitas sumber daya manusia dan masa depan bangsa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, kesadaran hukum, serta membangun sikap preventif pelajar terhadap bahaya narkoba di Kabupaten Sumbawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan melalui pendekatan ceramah dan diskusi interaktif yang dilaksanakan di lima SMA/MA di Kabupaten Sumbawa, yaitu MAN 1 Sumbawa Besar, SMA N 3 Sumbawa Besar, SMA N 1 Moyo Utara, SMAK ST Gregorius, dan SMA Muhammadiyah Sumbawa, dengan melibatkan Fakultas Hukum Universitas Samawa dan Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polres Sumbawa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan secara langsung di lingkungan sekolah efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan pelajar mengenai dampak narkoba dari aspek kesehatan, sosial, dan hukum, serta mendorong terbentuknya sikap kritis dan kemampuan menolak pengaruh negatif lingkungan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga berhasil menanamkan kesadaran pentingnya memilih pergaulan yang sehat dan mematuhi norma hukum. Kesimpulannya, penyuluhan berbasis edukasi hukum dan kesehatan merupakan strategi yang efektif dalam upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkotika di kalangan pelajar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan keberlanjutan program secara sistematis dan kolaboratif guna mewujudkan generasi muda yang berkarakter dan resilient terhadap ancaman narkoba.
