Analisis risiko dan pendapatan usaha tani brokoli pada kelompok tani utama desa ciherang kecamatan pacet kabupaten cianjur. Analisis risiko dan pendapatan usaha tani brokoli Kelompok Tani Utama di Cianjur. Studi mengungkap risiko & pendapatan moderat, serta korelasi positif kuat antara keduanya.

Abstract

Kelompok Tani Utama is a group of farmers who cultivate horticultural crops, one of which is broccoli, which is not free from uncertainty or risk. The purpose of this study is to find out (1) the level of risk experienced by broccoli farmers, (2) the level of income of one-harvest broccoli farmers, (3) the relationship between risk and income of broccoli farmers. This study uses a survey method and the analysis tools used are descriptive, quantitative and correlation analysis of Pearson Product Moment (PPM) with the help of SPSS 26.0 software. The results of this research show that the risk level of farming is classified as moderate, with the order of greatest risks being environment, materials, people, methods and management. The income from one harvest is IDR48.217.550,00 and the average is IDR1.607.251,67 and the Revenue cost ratio value is 1,43 > 1,00 with the level of farming income being classified as moderate. The relationship between risk and income is strong with a correlation coefficient value of 0,617, the direction of the relationship is positive

The findings present several compelling points: a moderate overall risk level, with environmental and material risks being the most prominent, offers a clear prioritization for risk mitigation efforts. The detailed income figures (IDR 48,217,550 for one harvest, average IDR 1,607,251.67) and a favorable Revenue Cost ratio of 1.43 demonstrate the profitability of broccoli farming, albeit at a moderate income level. Furthermore, the strong positive correlation coefficient of 0.617 between risk and income is a significant finding, suggesting that in this specific context, greater risk exposure is associated with higher income, providing nuanced insight into risk-taking behaviors among these farmers. While the study provides solid empirical evidence, its highly localized nature inevitably limits the generalizability of the findings to broader agricultural contexts. Future research could benefit from expanding the scope to include a larger sample size, diverse geographical regions, or different horticultural crops to validate these relationships more widely. Additionally, a deeper exploration into the specific mechanisms through which environmental and material risks manifest and their direct impact on income would enhance the study's practical applicability. Nevertheless, this paper successfully delivers a foundational analysis that is both informative and relevant, laying the groundwork for more comprehensive risk management strategies and policy considerations aimed at improving the resilience and profitability of smallholder farming communities.
