Abstract

Pelaku UMKM perempuan di Desa Warungering masih menghadapi kendala dalam aspek branding dan legalitas produk yang membatasi daya saing usaha mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman ibu-ibu pelaku usaha terhadap pentingnya branding dan legalitas produk melalui program sosialisasi Dapur Ibu Mandiri. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah survei awal, sosialisasi berbasis narasumber dan media interaktif, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pemahaman peserta terhadap branding dan legalitas produk, ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan skor benar pada post-test. Implikasinya, kegiatan ini menjadi pijakan awal pemberdayaan UMKM desa secara berkelanjutan melalui edukasi dan pendampingan legalitas produk.

This paper addresses a highly relevant and practical challenge faced by women micro, small, and medium enterprise (UMKM) owners in Desa Warungering: the significant limitations in product branding and legal compliance that impede their business competitiveness. The study introduces the "Dapur Ibu Mandiri" program as a strategic intervention, aiming to elevate the understanding among these women entrepreneurs regarding the critical importance of effective branding and product legalisation. The clearly articulated objective focuses on empowering these individuals through targeted knowledge enhancement. The methodology adopted is robust and well-suited for evaluating such an intervention. It commenced with an initial survey to establish baseline understanding, followed by a comprehensive socialization program delivered by expert sources and enriched with interactive media. The program's effectiveness was rigorously assessed using a pre-test and post-test design. The results compellingly demonstrate a significant improvement in participants' comprehension of branding and product legalities, evidenced by a notable increase in correct scores on the post-test, thereby affirming the positive impact of the "Dapur Ibu Mandiri" initiative. The implications of this study are significant, offering a valuable blueprint for community-based empowerment. The successful knowledge transfer achieved through this program serves as a crucial initial step towards the sustainable development of rural UMKMs, establishing a foundation for ongoing education and essential legal product assistance. This work provides a tangible model for strengthening the capacity and market presence of local entrepreneurs, particularly women, and highlights the transformative potential of targeted educational interventions in fostering economic resilience.
