Studi ini menemukan pengaruh positif jika pengemudi konvensional beradaptasi teknologi dan diversifikasi layanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kehadiran transportasi berbasis daring terhadap pendapatan pengemudi transportasi konvensional (bentor) di Kecamatan Kota Selatan. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam studi ini dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 90 responden yang merupakan pengemudi bentor. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transportasi online memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap pendapatan pengemudi bentor. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kehadiran transportasi online tidak selalu menjadi ancaman, melainkan dapat menjadi faktor pendukung dalam peningkatan pendapatan apabila pengemudi konvensional mampu beradaptasi dengan perubahan teknologi. Adaptasi tersebut meliputi peningkatan kualitas layanan, perluasan area operasional, serta diversifikasi layanan seperti jasa pengantaran barang. Dengan strategi tersebut, pengemudi bentor dapat mempertahankan eksistensi serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi mereka di tengah transformasi digital sektor transportasi.
