Abstract

Ana Hatherly é reconhecidamente um dos maiores expoentes da Poesia Experimental portuguesa. Mais especificamente, sua obra poética, visual e teórica se destaca pela pesquisa histórica sobre a visualidade da escrita, estabelecendo elos com produções da tradição ocidental, como no estudo A experiência do prodígio, como também com a escrita chinesa em Mapas da imaginação e memória. Ao fazê-lo, Hatherly apresenta as limitações do ato interpretativo do leitor enquanto mero decifrador de enigmas, seja em sua apropriação da gestualidade caligráfica ou na compreensão do arcabouço mágico e esotérico da poesia visual. Propõe-se, então, neste trabalho uma leitura em diálogo da poesia de Ana Hatherly (A Idade da Escrita, O Pavão Negro) e de sua produção teórica que tematizam as potências de significação da escrita. Para tanto, tomam-se como base pressupostos teóricos que abordam uma saída não-hermenêutica para a interpretação bem como a aproximação de sua produção com a obra de Fernando Pessoa, em especial a de Alberto Caeiro. Assim, evidencia-se a construção de uma poética experimental do ilegível, do arabesco e do frágil mistério do “pavão negro da escrita”.
