Abstract

La sociedad enfrenta múltiples desafíos, por lo que las entidades que lo conforman se preocupan en mejorar los daños y solucionar los problemas que le toca enfrentar. En ese sentido, la universidad es fundamental en la búsqueda de lo ideal universal, puesto que tiene un factor que desde su fundación lo acompaña, la investigación científica. Las universidades por naturaleza fomentan el conocimiento y el servicio social. Su servicio a la comunidad lo hace desde múltiples formas, pero muy poco desde la investigación, ya que es aplicado solo en casos complejos porque demanda mayor esfuerzo. De ahí que, este artículo realiza una revisión bibliográfica, tomando como objetivo hacer que las universidades realicen una contribución social a la comunidad teniendo como factor fundamental la investigación. Todo ello con la finalidad de darle más objetividad, más tecnicismo, profesionalismo y realce a los servicios que esta realice a la comunidad en general.
