Introduction

Kadonnut yhteisö? postilaisuus ikääntyvien postin työntekijöiden haastattelupuheessa. Tarkastele yhteisöllisyyttä Postin ikääntyvien työntekijöiden puheessa. Analyysi paljastaa "postilaisuuden" merkityksen ja yhteisön muutokset työelämän murroksissa.

Abstract

Tässä artikkelissa tarkastellaan Postissa pitkän työuran tehneiden ihmisten kuvauksia yhteisöllisyydestä työelämässä. Tutkimus keskittyy yhteisöllisyyttä luonnehtiviin arvoihin sekä ajallisiin murroskohtiin, joissa yhteisöllisyyden kuvataan muuttuneen. Aineistona on laadullisen seurantatutkimuksen keinoin kerättyjä haastatteluja yli 50-vuotiaiden entisten Postin työntekijöiden kokemuksista työelämässä ja sen jälkeen. Aineistoa on luettu näytteenä kulttuurissamme vallitsevista arvoista ja mahdollisista puhetavoista. Analyysi kuvaa postilaisuutta diskursiivisena konstruktiona ja käsitteenä, johon yhteisöllisyyden elementit tiivistyvät. Yhteisöllisyys kuvautuu positiivisena ja yhteenkuuluvuutta tuottavana seikkana, mutta eri aikoina sen nähdään muuttuneen monin tavoin. Muun muassa työelämän kuormittavuuden kasvu ja työurien muuttuminen yhä epävarmemmiksi limittyvät yhteisöllisyyden kokemuksen muutokseen. Työpaikoilla rakentuvaan yhteisöllisyyteen on tärkeää kiinnittää huomiota keskusteltaessa työurien pidentämisestä

A brief comparative discussion, even if just contextual, on how these findings from a specific Finnish organization align with or diverge from broader trends in other sectors or national contexts could further enrich the discussion. Nevertheless, this article presents a well-conceived and executed study that significantly contributes to our understanding of workplace community, professional identity, and the experiences of an aging workforce in an era of profound change.
