This study, titled "Efektivitas Polisi Rukun Warga Di Kecamatan Marawola Kabupaten Sigi," addresses a pertinent topic in community policing and local security governance within Indonesia. The research aims to critically analyze the effectiveness of the Rukun Warga (RW) Police, an initiative established under Regulation of the Chief of the National Police No. 4 of 2020 to enhance neighborhood security systems. The abstract clearly outlines a qualitative approach, employing the comprehensive eight-aspect Eugene Bardach model of policy analysis. Data collection through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, including the Marawola Police Chief and Binmas Sub-District Head, suggests a robust methodology for gathering nuanced perspectives on the program's implementation and impact. The findings presented indicate a "fairly good level of effectiveness" for the RW Police policy in Marawola Sub-District. This positive assessment is substantiated by the program's success in managing security cases at the RW level and fostering an increased sense of safety within the community. However, the study also judiciously identifies several critical impediments to optimal effectiveness, namely limited operational budget, a non-standardized reporting system, and an uneven distribution of personnel. These identified obstacles are crucial for understanding the practical challenges faced by such community-based security initiatives and provide valuable insights for potential improvements. While the abstract provides a solid overview of the study's purpose, methodology, and key findings, a full review would benefit from a more detailed elaboration on how the eight aspects of the Bardach model specifically informed the analysis and conclusions. Further, exploring the specific implications of the identified obstacles on both short-term effectiveness and long-term sustainability of the RW Police would be valuable. The research makes a significant contribution by shedding light on a specific localized security program and offers clear avenues for policy enhancement. Future work could potentially delve into comparative analyses with other regions or propose concrete strategies to overcome the highlighted budgetary, reporting, and personnel distribution challenges.
