Abstract

O emprego de modelos didáticos através de uma abordagem lúdica configura-se como uma estratégia didática facilitadora muito valiosa no ensino de Ciências, e permite que o aprendizado seja interativo e prazeroso. Dessa forma, o relato de experiência teve como objetivo compreender e relatar o desenvolvimento do ensino de ciências com foco na morfologia floral, com o auxílio de modelos didáticos das flores. A pesquisa foi realizada com discentes de instituição de ensino público no município de Santana do Ipanema, no Laboratório de Pesquisa em Angiospermas da Caatinga, localizado na Universidade Estadual de Alagoas. Para o desenvolvimento do estudo, o material didático consistiu em réplicas de estruturas florais fabricadas em EVA e biscuit, seguindo as colorações das flores escolhidas para demonstração. Os modelos florais foram elaborados seguindo os padrões morfológicos, porém, com escala ampliada. A experiência consistiu em um momento inicial expositivo com auxílio de modelos didáticos de flores, abordando aspectos da morfologia floral e a sua importância na reprodução das angiospermas. As espécies escolhidas para a representação permitem diferentes abordagens explicativas. Os alunos se mostraram engajados na participação, ressaltando que as flores utilizadas como modelo facilitou a visualização e a disposição das estruturas florais, o que melhorou o entendimento do assunto. Portanto, a utilização de modelos florais como ferramenta educacional no ensino da morfologia floral se configura como uma estratégia potencialmente eficaz para a promoção da compreensão profunda e contextualizada das características estruturais das flores.
