Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of the Boyolali Regency Government, particularly through the Department of Trade and Industry (DISDAGPERIN), in addressing obstacles in export reporting. Export reporting plays an important role in supporting the smooth flow of international trade and serves as a basis for formulating regional economic policies. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method using interviews, observations, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, and the validity of the data was tested through source, technique, and time triangulation. The results indicate that the local government has conducted socialization activities, provided assistance, and issued administrative reminders to business actors; however, the implementation of these policies has not been optimal. The main obstacles include low awareness among business actors, limited binding regulations, and the absence of an integrated digital reporting system. In addition, limitations in human resources and inter-agency coordination also affect the effectiveness of export reporting. Therefore, the local government needs to strengthen regulations, enhance the capacity of its apparatus, and develop a digital system to make export reporting more efficient and accurate.
