Abstract

The Sagarmatha menjadi sumber ide penciptaan busana muslim Wanita yang diambil dari nama salah satu gunung bersalju yang berada dalam cerita fiksi pada serial televisi berjudul Game of Thrones. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses penciptaan desain busana muslim wanita hingga proses perwujudannya dengan sumber ide cerita fiksi pada serial televisi. dengan menggunakan Metode naratif yang menggunakan narasi atau elemen dari sebuah cerita fiksi. seperti karakter, plot, setting, ataupun tema. Pada proses penciptaan desain busana muslim wanita hingga proses perwujudannya dibagi menjadi 4 yaitu eksplorasi, perancangan, perwujudan, dan publikasi karya. Pada tahap eksplorasi desainer melakukan penelusuran dan eksperimen untuk mengembangkan konsep dalam bentuk mind mapping, storyboard dan mood board. Tahap perancangan merupakan tahap pengembangan eksplorasi menjadi beberapa desain busana. Tahap perwujudan adalah tahap merealisasikan desain busana menjadi busana yang nyata dengan menggunakan ukuran standar medium hingga proses finishing. Tahap publikasi karya merupakan proses penyampaian atau penyebarluasan sebuah karya kepada khalayak ramai Hasil penelitian berupa hasil jadi busana muslim wanita menggunakan perpaduan batik sasirangan dan manipulating fabric berupa plisket sesuai dengan sumber ide pembuatan busana The Sagarmatha.

The methodology employs a narrative approach, systematically leveraging elements such as characters, plot, setting, or themes from the fictional source to inform the design process. The research clearly delineates a four-stage creative journey: exploration, design development (perancangan), realization (perwujudan), and publication. Each stage is adequately described, from the initial ideation supported by mind mapping, storyboards, and mood boards, to the practical execution of designs into tangible garments using standard sizing and finishing techniques. The integration of traditional Indonesian *batik sasirangan* with modern fabric manipulation techniques like *plisket* (pleating) in the final product highlights a thoughtful blend of heritage and contemporary trends. Overall, this study makes a valuable contribution by providing a structured and replicable model for creative design, particularly within the niche of Muslim women's fashion, by venturing beyond conventional sources of inspiration. The detailed process outlined is highly beneficial for both design practitioners and academic researchers in understanding the transformation of abstract narrative elements into concrete fashion pieces. While the abstract successfully conveys the "how-to," future iterations of this work could further strengthen its impact by offering a deeper analytical connection between the chosen narrative elements of "The Sagarmatha" and their specific aesthetic interpretations in the final designs, thereby enriching the theoretical underpinnings of the creative outcomes.
