This study aims to determine the effect of fashion trends on the TikTok application on the selection of college outfits. This study is a type of descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were students of the Family Welfare Education study program, FKIP, Syiah Kuala University, who often use the TikTok application. The technique used in determining the sample was the Simple Random Sampling technique, so the number of samples was 73 people. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. This study tackles a highly relevant and contemporary topic, investigating the influence of TikTok fashion trends on students' college outfit choices. The clear aim and the chosen descriptive quantitative methodology, employing a questionnaire with a Likert scale, appear well-suited to address the research question. The systematic approach to sampling, using simple random sampling to select 73 participants from a defined population of TikTok-using students, suggests an effort to ensure methodological rigor within the specified university context. This focus on a specific demographic could offer valuable insights into particular student communities. However, the provided abstract is critically incomplete, severely hindering an expert review. Most notably, the "Results" section abruptly cuts off mid-sentence, stating only "the simple linear regression equation had a value of" without presenting the actual statistical outcome, its significance, or any interpretation. This fundamental omission makes it impossible to assess the study's core findings, the strength of the relationship, or the validity of any conclusions drawn. Furthermore, while the focused population (Family Welfare Education students at a single university) allows for targeted data collection, it inherently limits the generalizability of the findings to a broader student body or diverse cultural settings, a limitation that should be explicitly addressed. For this study to be considered complete and impactful, the full paper must present a comprehensive articulation of its results, including the complete statistical output, measures of significance, and effect sizes. A thorough discussion section is equally vital, where the findings are interpreted, linked back to the research question and relevant literature, and the implications of the study are explored. As it stands, the abstract, despite outlining a promising research question and a sound methodological approach, lacks the essential information required to evaluate the study's academic contribution or its potential to advance understanding in this area.
