Sistem jemuran pakaian cerdas berbasis internet of things (iot). Kembangkan sistem jemuran pakaian cerdas IoT otomatis yang melindungi pakaian dari hujan mendadak. Menggunakan Arduino, sensor, dan terhubung ke aplikasi mobile untuk pemantauan real-time.
Abstract- The development of information and communication technology (ICT) makes humans more creative in creating a system that will be used to facilitate their daily activities. One of the uses of this technology is an automatic clothesline system that helps protect clothes being dried from situations and conditions when it rains by utilizing microcontroller devices and sensor modules so that it becomes urgent for people who are carrying out activities outside the home so that they don't need to worry about their clothesline if it rains suddenly. The purpose of this study is to develop a prototype of an automatic clothesline using an Arduino microcontroller, raindrop sensor, servo motor and Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The microcontroller will process the data information received from the sensor and then send it to the thingspeak cloud computing and at the same time also give instructions to the motor driver to rotate and move left or right so that the clothesline protective roof can be active and protect the clothesline from rain. Information about real-time data and conditions on the system can be accessed by users using mobile devices on the thingsview application. The method that will be used is the experimental research method with a waterfall pattern, which can properly test the hypothesis concerning casual relationships through the design science research method (DSRM) stages. By making an automatic clothes drying tool, it will solve the problem for people who do not have time to take care of clothes drying when they are not at home and do not need to worry about clothes that are being dried because they are afraid of getting rained on.
This paper introduces a highly relevant and practical application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the Internet of Things (IoT) in developing a "Sistem Jemuran Pakaian Cerdas" or Smart Clothesline System. The abstract effectively highlights a common daily challenge: the need to protect drying clothes from unexpected rain when individuals are away from home. The proposed system aims to address this by providing an automated solution, thereby enhancing convenience and alleviating household concerns through intelligent automation. The core of the system is well-defined, leveraging an Arduino microcontroller, a raindrop sensor, and a servo motor to detect rain and activate a protective roof mechanism. A notable strength is the integration of IoT technology, utilizing Thingspeak for cloud data storage and Thingsview for real-time mobile monitoring. This feature provides users with remote access to the system's status, showcasing a practical and user-centric design approach. The abstract clearly outlines the system's operational flow, from sensor input to motor control and remote notification, and specifies an experimental research methodology with a waterfall pattern and Design Science Research Method (DSRM) stages, which is suitable for the development of such a prototype. While the abstract provides a solid foundation, the full paper should expand on several key areas to fully validate the system's efficacy and impact. It would greatly benefit from a more detailed discussion on performance metrics, including the system's response time to rain detection, the accuracy and reliability of the raindrop sensor under varying conditions, and the mechanical durability of the servo motor and protective roof. Further insights into power consumption, the system's robustness against diverse environmental factors (e.g., strong winds, false positives from non-rainwater splashes), and a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis would enhance the research's practical implications. Finally, a comparative analysis with existing solutions, if any, would contextualize its innovation and potential market advantage.
