Sistem agen ai (agentic ai) sebagai mitra produktivitas umkm di indonesia. Agen AI tingkatkan produktivitas UMKM Indonesia. Kurangi beban administratif, tingkatkan efisiensi, penjualan, & kepuasan pelanggan. Pelajari kerangka AUA dan implementasi etisnya.
MSMEs are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, yet their productivity remains hampered by limited resources, digital readiness, and business process governance. The emergence of agentic AI, artificial intelligence-based agents capable of autonomously planning, remembering, and executing tasks, offers opportunities to reduce administrative burdens and improve workflow efficiency. This study aims to map the opportunities and barriers to implementing agentic AI in MSMEs, design an Agentic-MSME Alignment (AUA) framework, and examine its impact on productivity and service quality indicators. A mixed-methods approach was used, including surveys of 30 MSMEs in three major cities, in-depth interviews with 10 MSMEs, observations of AI prototype implementations, and system log analysis. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests and thematic analysis to validate the results. The findings show significant improvements in time efficiency, sales, and customer satisfaction. Interviews confirmed that the greatest benefits were accelerated customer response and reduced administrative burden, although concerns were raised about data privacy and output errors. The integration of the AUA framework has been shown to strengthen transparency, reduce administrative errors, and encourage a new division of labor between AI and humans. This study provides empirical evidence that agentic AI can be a productivity partner for MSMEs, provided there is increased digital literacy, ethical governance, and community support. This research contribution not only broadens academic knowledge on AI in MSMEs but also offers practical guidance for developing inclusive digital transformation policies and strategies in Indonesia.
This study addresses a highly relevant and critical topic concerning the productivity challenges faced by Indonesian MSMEs and explores the potential of agentic AI as a transformative solution. The paper clearly articulates its aims: to map opportunities and barriers, design an Agentic-MSME Alignment (AUA) framework, and assess its impact on key performance indicators. The mixed-methods approach, combining surveys, in-depth interviews, observations of AI prototypes, and system log analysis, provides a robust foundation for understanding this complex issue. The reported findings of significant improvements in time efficiency, sales, and customer satisfaction, coupled with reduced administrative burdens, offer compelling evidence for the utility of agentic AI. While the study presents promising results, several areas warrant further detail or consideration to fully appreciate its scope and generalizability. The sample size of 30 MSMEs for surveys and 10 for interviews, spanning three major cities, appears rather limited for making broad generalizations across the diverse Indonesian MSME landscape; greater methodological transparency regarding participant selection and generalizability would strengthen the claims. More elaboration on the specific nature of the "AI prototype implementations" and the duration of observation, as well as the detailed mechanisms of how the AUA framework was designed and integrated, would enhance clarity. Furthermore, while data privacy and output errors are rightly identified as concerns, the abstract could provide more insight into how the AUA framework or the study's recommendations specifically address these critical challenges beyond general calls for ethical governance and digital literacy. Despite these points, this research makes a valuable contribution by providing empirical evidence for the viability of agentic AI as a productivity partner for MSMEs in Indonesia. Its practical guidance for developing inclusive digital transformation policies and strategies is particularly noteworthy, aligning academic knowledge with real-world application. The integration of the AUA framework, even if needing further exposition, points towards a structured approach for ethical and efficient AI adoption. Overall, this paper serves as an important foundational study for understanding the complex interplay between emerging AI technologies and the crucial MSME sector, laying groundwork for future research and policy interventions aimed at fostering economic growth and digital inclusivity.
