Abstract

Pasca Pandemi Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) mengharuskan melakukan pembelajaran mixed yaitu luring dan online termasuk mata kuliah kalkulus derivatif. Belajar online menuntut siswa memiliki motivasi yang kuat untuk belajar. Pengembangan Buku Ajar  merupakan salah satu strategi yang dapat menumbuhkan motivasi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan Buku Ajar yang praktis dalam menumbuhkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, yaitu pengembangan Buku Ajar dengan model Plomp: (1) investigasi awal, (2) desain, (3) realisasi/konstruksi, (4) pengujian, evaluasi dan revisi, (5) implementasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika STKIP Andi Matappa. Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar kepraktisan buku ajar. Hasil penelitian skor kepraktisan buku ajar memiliki kriteria sangat praktis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar kalkulus derivatif yang telah dikembangkan memenuhi unsur praktikalitas untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa.

Future research or a more comprehensive abstract would benefit from clarifying: (1) the specific criteria used to define and measure "practicality," (2) who assessed this practicality (e.g., experts, lecturers, students), and (3) critically, whether the textbook's practical nature indeed translated into a measurable increase in student motivation, which was a core objective. This clarification would strengthen the claims made regarding the textbook's impact.
