Zasady programowe pozostają niezmienne od reorganizacji Komitetu po przełomie z 1990 roku. Dysponowano kwotą 30 015 593,47 zł, z czego 30 mln zł stanowi dotacja Kancelarii Prezydenta RP. Realizowano 117 zadań w 95 obiektach. Wkład własny beneficjentów wyniósł ponad 21,7 mln zł, wliczając zaś zadania wykraczające poza programy konserwatorskie – ponad 41,5 mln. Do każdej złotówki wydatkowanej z Narodowego Funduszu Rewaloryzacji Zabytków Krakowa statystyczny beneficjent dokładał 1,38 zł ze środków własnych. Najważniejsze prace przeprowadzone na Wawelu to: konserwacja późnobarokowego hełmu wieży zegarowej oraz kontynuacja prac w kaplicy grobowej króla Jana Olbrachta w katedrze, konserwacja attyki renesansowego muru kurtynowego na zamku Ponadto kontynuowano prace w kościołach, m.in.: Mariackim, św. Anny, śś. Piotra i Pawła, w Domku Loretańskim przy kościele Kapucynów, św. Mikołaja na Wesołej i klasztorach: Franciszkanów, Dominikanek na Grodku, Klarysek, Norbertanek. Spośród zadań w architekturze świeckiej szczególne miejsce zajęły realizacje w obiektach uniwersyteckich, konserwacja wystroju malarskiego kamienicy Klemensa Bąkowskiego (ul. św. Jana 12), a także zapoczątkowanie remontu willi Kossakówka na Wygodzie.
