Review

The paper titled "Perbandingan Indonesia, Malaysia, dan India" addresses a highly pertinent topic concerning the pivotal role of education in national development and global competitiveness. The abstract clearly outlines the study's objective: to compare the educational systems of Indonesia, Malaysia, and India to identify key characteristics and best practices relevant for enhancing Indonesian education. Employing a qualitative, literature-based approach through policy analysis, the research reveals distinct differences in policy, access, curriculum, and technology integration, while acknowledging shared goals in character and competency development. A significant strength of this study lies in its comparative methodology, which effectively highlights the unique advantages of each nation's educational system. The identification of Malaysia's excellence in equity of quality and India's prowess in innovation and digitalization provides valuable benchmarks for Indonesia. This comparative lens allows for a nuanced understanding of how different policy choices and implementation strategies contribute to specific outcomes. The practical contribution is particularly noteworthy in its conclusion, suggesting that Indonesia can draw actionable insights from these best practices to strengthen its own educational quality, tailored to its national context. While the study offers a valuable initial exploration, the "studi pustaka" (literature review) approach, while suitable for identifying broad characteristics, may inherently limit the depth of analysis required to fully dissect the intricate 'hows' and 'whys' of educational system performance. Future research could benefit from exploring the underlying causal factors or specific policy mechanisms that contribute to the observed disparities and successes. Incorporating more detailed case studies or primary data from stakeholders might also provide richer insights into *how* best practices are successfully implemented. Nonetheless, this paper serves as a foundational comparative analysis, providing a clear impetus for further contextualized research and policy adaptation within Indonesia.
