Perancangan dan implementasi sistem informasi kumpulan resep masakan berbasis web menggunakan metode waterfall. Sistem informasi resep masakan berbasis web (Waterfall) untuk menyimpan, mencari, & berbagi resep. Fitur pencarian, kategori, upload resep, & manajemen akun permudah inspirasi masak sehari-hari.
Web-based information systems have become a popular solution for distributing information quickly, efficiently, and accessible to a wide range of users. In the context of recipe management, this system is designed to facilitate users in storing, searching, and sharing recipes in a practical and structured manner. The main goal of developing this system is to provide a digital platform that supports daily cooking activities by presenting complete and easily accessible recipe information. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system developed is an interactive website featuring recipe search by name or ingredient, recipe categorization, recipe uploads by users, and account management. Testing was conducted using the black box method to ensure that each feature functions according to its specifications. The test results show that all system components run well, are responsive, and meet user needs. This system is expected to help users find cooking inspiration, organize recipe collections, and share recipes within a user-friendly and easily accessible digital community.
This paper presents a clear and concise overview of the design and implementation of a web-based information system for managing recipe collections, utilizing the Waterfall development model. The project addresses a practical and common need for users to efficiently store, search, and share recipes, aiming to provide a structured digital platform that supports daily cooking activities. The system's objective to facilitate user interaction with recipe content in an accessible manner is well-articulated, highlighting the relevance of web-based solutions for information dissemination. A key strength of this work lies in its structured approach using the Waterfall model, ensuring a systematic progression through requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The abstract details a comprehensive set of features, including recipe search by various criteria, categorization, user upload capabilities, and account management, which directly align with the system's stated goals. Furthermore, the explicit mention of black box testing to validate functionality, responsiveness, and user needs demonstrates a commitment to quality assurance, with the reported successful outcomes indicating a robust initial implementation. While the system successfully addresses its primary objectives and shows good functional integrity, the abstract could benefit from suggesting areas for deeper exploration in the full paper. For instance, while black box testing confirms feature functionality, including user experience evaluations or usability studies could provide stronger empirical evidence of meeting "user needs" beyond basic operational checks. Additionally, a brief mention of the underlying technologies or frameworks used would offer valuable technical context. Future work could also consider implications for scalability, security, or the integration of more advanced features like personalized recommendations, which would further enhance the system's utility and potential impact within a dynamic digital cooking community.
