Introduction

Peran kepolisian dalam proses penyidikan terhadap pelaku tindak pidana judi online. Menjelajahi peran kepolisian dalam penyidikan tindak pidana judi online, termasuk proses penindakan hukum dan kendala penyidik dari faktor internal & eksternal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan penyidikan dan faktor kendala penyidik dalam menangani tindak pidana judi online. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penelitian hukum empiris. Pada penelitian ini penyusun menggunakan dua metode pendekatan, yaitu pendekatan undang-undang dan pendekatan konseptual. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyidikan tindak pidana judi online, yaitu menerima laporan dari masyarakat, penyelidikan, penyidikan dengan melakukan penindakan hukum dan penyerahan berkas perkara ke penuntut umum. Adapun kendala yang menjadi hambatan penyidik terbagi menjadi dua faktor yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal.
