Abstract

Desa Ujungnegoro dan Desa Depok merupakan desa di pesisir Pantai Ujungnegoro – Sigandu di Kecamatan Kandeman Kabupaten Batang. Dua desa ini merupakan desa yang. Menurut Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) Kabupaten Batang Tahun 2019-2039, Desa Ujungnegoro dan Desa Depok termasuk kawasan pengembangan Pantai Ujungnegoro-Sigandu dan merupakan kawasan strategis dari sudut kepentingan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Desa Ujungnegoro dan Desa Depok memiliki keunggulan yang dapat dijadikan potensi untuk mengembangkan ekonomi desa dan masayarakat setempat diantaranya pariwisata, pertanian dan perkebunan, serta UMKM. Namun potensi-potensi tersebut belum terdokumentasikan dengan baik dalam satu dokumen berupa profil desa. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk membantu perangkat desa dalam menyusun buku profil desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masayrakat ini adalah observasi dan wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) kepada perangkat desa dan masyarakat. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengolahan data dan penyusunan buku profil desa. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah berupa buku profil desa yang berisi tentang gambaran umum kondisi kondisi fisik alam desa, kondisi fisik binaan desa, kondisi sosial masyarakat desa, potensi ekonomi dan potensi pengembangan kawasan, serta permasalahan yang mungkin dapat menghambat pengembangan Desa Ujungnegoro dan Desa Depok.

Beyond their creation, discussing how these documents will be actively used by village officials, local communities, or external stakeholders to inform decision-making, attract investment, or guide future development initiatives would strengthen the paper. Additionally, highlighting any participatory aspects of the book's compilation, beyond simply assisting officials, could underscore its community-driven nature. Nevertheless, this initiative represents a significant and valuable contribution to local capacity building and strategic planning for the Ujungnegoro-Sigandu coastal area.
