Introduction

Peningkatan jalan menggunakan perkerasan kaku (rigid beton) pada ruas jalan mahkota irigasi ujung, kota timika-papua. Meningkatkan jalan di Timika, Papua, dengan perkerasan kaku (rigid beton). Perencanaan menggunakan metode AASHTO untuk ketebalan pelat dan beban lalu lintas.

Abstract

Ruas Jalan Mahkota irigasi ujung merupakan bagian dari sistem transportasi sebagai pelayanan sarana infrastruktur bagi dampak pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk. Guna memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut perencanaan perkerasan baru diperlukan untuk melayani kebutuhan lalu lintas di masa yang akan datang. Perkerasan kaku adalah suatu susunan konstruksi perkerasan dimana sebagai lapisan atas dipergunakan pelat beton, yang terletak di atas pondasi atau langsung diatas tanah dasar (Bina Marga, 2003). Konsep dari perencanaan perkerasan kaku (beton semen)  direncanakan terhadap konfigurasi beban sumbu yang mengakibatkan tegangan terbesar pada pelat. Konsep Perencanaan perkerasan Metode AASHTO yaitu tebal pelat rencana akan bertambah sesuai pertambahan lalu lintas ekivalen selama umur rencana dan sebaliknya tebal pelat akan berkurang dengan pengurangan volume lalu lintas ekivalen.akan tetapi dalam menentukan LHR kendaraan hanya menghitung beban sumbu truk saja. Perencanaan Tebal Pelat beton perkerasan jalan dengan menggunakan metode AASHTO 32 cm, sebesar 1-2 cm, Hal ini akibat perbedaan konsep dasar dari Satu metode.

A more detailed and coherent presentation of the problem, the specific application of the AASHTO methodology, and a clearer articulation of the design results, including how any observed discrepancies were resolved or accounted for, are essential to enhance the paper's rigor and contribution. Without these substantial clarifications, the current abstract, and consequently the implied research, lacks the necessary depth and clarity expected for a peer-reviewed journal.
