Tilawah Al-Qur’an berarti membaca Al-Qur’an dengan irama/lagu. Ada tujuh irama/lagu dalam tilawah Al-Qur’an yang biasanya diajarkan dalam pembinaan tilawah. Dengan menguasai tilawah Al-Qur’an tentunya akan lebih memperindah bacaan, tetapi yang terlihat di lapangan bahwa anak-anak bahkan sama sekali belum mengenal apa itu tilawah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah program yang dapat mengenalkan anak-anak pada tilawah. Tidak berhenti pada tahap mengenalkan, diperlukaan pula tahap pembinaan sebagai pengetahuan dasar yang dapat mengasah potensi anak-anak dalam ilmu membaca al-Qur’an. Pembinaan ini secara rutin dilaksanakan setiap hari Senin, rabu dan jum’at selama dua bulan lamanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode statistika deskriptif yang akan menggambarkan proses berjalannya pengenalan dan pembinaan tilawah. Hasil dari pengabdian ini ialah mampu mengenalkan tilawah kepada anak-anak dan memberikan mereka pengetahuan dasar terkait tilawah al-Qur’an.
