Pengembangan lkpd berbasis discovery learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi suhu dan pemuaian kelas vii mts al-ittihad aek nabara. LKPD berbasis Discovery Learning dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII pada materi Suhu dan Pemuaian. Terbukti sangat layak, praktis, dan efektif.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan LKPD berbasis discovery learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi suhu dan pemuaian kelas VII MTS Al-Ittihad Aek Nabara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek penelitian meliputi siswa kelas VII-3 MTS Al-Ittihad Aek Nabara. Objek penelitian ini adalah LKPD berbasis discovery learning. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, angket kepraktisan oleh pendidik dan peserta didik, dan untuk mengetahui keefektifan LKPD dengan memberikan soal pretest dan postest kepada peserta didik. Pada tahap validasi, hasil penilaian ahli materi mendapat presentase rata-rata yaitu 94% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil penilaian ahli media mendapat presentase rata-rata yaitu 95% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil penilaian respon pendidik untuk uji kepraktisan mendapatkan persentase rata-rata sebesar 93,75% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil uji kepraktisan oleh peserta didik dari angket yang diberikan mendapatkan presentase rata-rata 92% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil uji keefektifan terhadap hasil belajar memperoleh n-gain sebesar 0,76 dengan kategori efektif pada kelas. Hasil nilai thitung > ttabel(3,153 > 2,001), maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka ada pengaruh signifikan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan pengembangan LKPD berbasis discovery learning dilihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test pada materi suhu dan pemuaian.
This paper presents a commendable effort to develop Learning Worksheets (LKPD) based on the discovery learning model, specifically targeting seventh-grade students' understanding of temperature and expansion at MTS Al-Ittihad Aek Nabara. The clear objective—to investigate the development and effectiveness of such LKPD—is well-articulated. The choice of a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, specifically employing the widely recognized ADDIE model, provides a robust framework for the study. Initial stages of development show promising results, with both material and media experts rating the LKPD as "very feasible" (94% and 95% respectively), indicating a high-quality instructional product from an expert's perspective. Furthermore, the study effectively demonstrates the practicality and effectiveness of the developed LKPD. Practicality assessments by both educators (93.75%) and students (92%) categorized the worksheets as "very practical," suggesting ease of use and positive reception in a real classroom setting. Crucially, the effectiveness evaluation, measured through pre-test and post-test scores, yielded a significant n-gain score of 0.76, categorized as "effective," which strongly indicates substantial improvement in student learning outcomes. The statistical analysis, with t_hitung > t_tabel (3.153 > 2.001), further solidifies the conclusion that the LKPD has a significant positive impact on students' learning achievement in the specified material. Overall, this study offers strong evidence for the potential of discovery learning-based LKPD to enhance student learning in physics. While the abstract provides a comprehensive summary of the development process and its positive outcomes, the full paper would benefit from elaborating on the specific design principles incorporated into the LKPD to facilitate discovery learning, and perhaps offer qualitative insights from student and teacher observations during the implementation phase. Nevertheless, the rigorous methodology and compelling results presented strongly support the conclusion that the developed LKPD is a valid, practical, and effective tool for improving student learning. This paper represents a valuable contribution to educational practice, particularly in the context of junior high school science education.
