Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul dan mengetahui kelayakan dari e-modul pada materi sustainable fashion di kelas XI Tata Busana SMK Negeri 1 Beringin. Metode pengembangan e-modul dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) hasil rata-rata persentase analisis kebutuhan sebesar 85,63% peserta didik dan 100% guru membutuhkan pengembangan e-modul. (2) uji kelayakan e-modul pada tahap validasi ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 85,5% dengan kriteria tingkat kevalidan “sangat baik” dan tahap uji validasi ahli media memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 85,8% dengan kriteria tingkat kevalidan “sangat baik”. (3) tahap uji coba pengembangan e-modul pada peserta didik dari uji coba kelompok kecil (93,3%), uji coba kelompok sedang (93,5%) dan uji coba kelompok besar (89,7%), serta tahap uji coba pengembangan kepada guru bidang studi desain dan produksi busana (92,2%) yang secara keseluruhan diperoleh respon positif terhadap e-modul yang dikembangkan dengan kesimpulan bahwa e-modul pada materi sustainable fashion “sangat baik” untuk digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar. This study addresses a pertinent educational need by focusing on the development and feasibility assessment of an e-module for sustainable fashion in Grade XI vocational high school students at SMK Negeri 1 Beringin. The increasing importance of sustainability in the fashion industry makes this topic highly relevant, and the initiative to create an interactive digital learning resource directly contributes to preparing future professionals with essential knowledge. The research clearly states its objective to not only develop such a module but also to ascertain its eligibility for practical implementation in the classroom, thereby bridging a potential gap in current vocational curricula. The methodology employed, Research and Development (R&D) utilizing the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), provides a robust framework for systematic educational product development. The findings strongly support the developed e-module's viability. Initial need analysis revealed overwhelming demand, with 85.63% of students and 100% of teachers indicating a requirement for such a resource. Subsequent validation by material and media experts yielded "very good" ratings (85.5% and 85.8% respectively), confirming the module's pedagogical and technical soundness. Crucially, the e-module received consistently positive responses across all student trial phases (small, medium, and large groups, ranging from 89.7% to 93.5%) and from subject teachers (92.2%), culminating in the conclusion that the e-module on sustainable fashion is "very good" for use in teaching and learning. The study's systematic approach, from needs assessment to expert validation and user trials, represents a significant strength, ensuring the e-module is both relevant and effective. The positive and consistent feedback from multiple stakeholders—students, teachers, and experts—underscores the quality and utility of the developed resource. While the research successfully establishes the e-module's suitability and high acceptance, future studies could explore its long-term impact on student learning outcomes, engagement, and the development of sustainable practices among graduates. Nevertheless, this work provides a valuable, well-validated educational tool that can significantly enhance sustainable fashion education in vocational settings.
