Business Assistance (X2) also had a positive and significant impact on MSME Development (Y) by 71.1%. When combined, Murabaha Financing (X1) and Business Assistance (X2) account for 78.0% of the positive and significant influence on MSME Development (Y) in Sukatani Subdistrict, with the remaining 22% being attributed to other factors not explored in this study.

Review

This study offers a relevant and important examination of how Murabaha financing and business assistance from BTPN Syariah contribute to the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in a specific Indonesian subdistrict. The research addresses a crucial area given the role of MSMEs in economic growth and the increasing relevance of Islamic finance. The quantitative methodology, employing a descriptive approach with data collected from a commendable sample of 97 MSME customers, is well-suited to the stated objectives, providing a clear and direct approach to assess the impact of the identified variables. The findings are compelling, demonstrating a strong positive and significant impact from both independent variables. Murabaha Financing (X1) is shown to influence MSME Development (Y) by a substantial 72.4%, while Business Assistance (X2) accounts for 71.1%. Even more significantly, the combined effect of both factors explains 78.0% of the variance in MSME development, highlighting the powerful synergy between financial support and practical guidance. The use of multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS version 27 is an appropriate and standard analytical technique, lending robust statistical validity to these strong correlations. The implications of this research are substantial, providing valuable evidence for Islamic financial institutions like BTPN Syariah on the effectiveness of integrated support strategies for MSMEs. The findings strongly suggest that combining Sharia-compliant financing with dedicated business assistance is a highly effective model for fostering local economic development. For future research, it would be beneficial to explore the nature of the "other 22%" of influencing factors mentioned, potentially through qualitative studies, to gain a more holistic understanding of MSME development. Additionally, comparative studies across different regions or with other Islamic financial institutions could further enhance the generalizability and robustness of these important findings.
