Di Indonesia, sektor energi migas memainkan peran sentral dalam perekonomian, menjadi penukar mata uang dan pemasok utama energi. Dengan pertumbuhan konsumsi energi yang signifikan, produksi minyak dan gas bumi menghasilkan emisi gas berlebih yang dapat mempengaruhi lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Cikampek, sebagai salah satu fasilitas penyimpanan dan distribusi bahan bakar terbesar di Karawang, berperan penting dalam rantai pasokan energi nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dampak lingkungan dari operasi Depo Pertamina Dawuan, terutama terkait dengan emisi polutan udara seperti senyawa organik mudah menguap, benzena, sulfur dioksida (SO₂), nitrogen oksida (NOₓ), serta partikulat (PM10 dan PM2.5). Ada 3 proses penting dalam proses distribusi BBM, yaitu proses eksplorasi dan produksi, proses pemasaran yang meliputi penerimaan, penimbunan, dan penyaluran BBM, dan yang terakhir adalah proses penggunaan oleh Masyarakat. Dalam hal ini Fuel Terminal Cikampek adalah tempat yang bertugas dalam proses pemasaran.
