PELAKSANAAN KEWENANGAN KOMISI INFORMASI PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA BARAT DALAM PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA INFORMASI PUBLIK

Introduction

Pelaksanaan kewenangan komisi informasi provinsi nusa tenggara barat dalam penyelesaian sengketa informasi publik. Analisis pelaksanaan kewenangan Komisi Informasi Provinsi NTB dalam sengketa informasi publik. Identifikasi hambatan (SDM, anggaran) dan solusi Komisi untuk transparansi & akuntabilitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan kewenangan Komisi Informasi Provinsi NTB dalam penyelesaian sengketa informasi publik serta mengidentifikasi hambatan dan solusi Komisi Informasi Provinsi NTB dalam pelaksanaan kewenangannya dalam menyelesaikan sengketa informasi publik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian normatif-empiris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Pelaksanaan kewenangan Komisi Informasi Provinsi NTB dalam penyelesaian sengketa informasi publik sudah berjalan dengan baik, hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan peningkatan jumlah kasus yang berhasil diselesaikan oleh Komisi Informasi Provinsi NTB sesuai dengan prosedur sehingga proses penyelesaian berjalan efektif. Namun demikian, bukan berarti Komisi Informasi Provinsi NTB tidak mempunyai hambatan dalam menjalankan tugas dan wewenangnya tersebut. Adapun faktor-faktor yang menjadi hambatan yang dihadapi oleh Komisi Informasi Provinsi NTB seperti, kurangnya sosialisasi, minimnya sumber daya manusia, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, serta anggaran yang terbatas. Walaupun demikian, hal tersebut tidak menghalangi Komisi Informasi NTB untuk terus menjaga transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat.

The research's findings suggest a largely positive performance, indicating that KIP NTB's execution of its dispute resolution mandate is generally effective, marked by an increasing number of cases successfully concluded according to established procedures. This demonstrates a commendable commitment to upholding the public's right to information. However, the abstract transparently acknowledges several significant impediments. These include prevalent challenges such as insufficient public socialization, limited human resources, inadequate infrastructure and facilities, and budget constraints – all common issues for public institutions in developing contexts. Despite these recognized challenges, the study concludes that KIP NTB continues to uphold its core principles of transparency, accountability, and public service. While the abstract effectively highlights both successes and obstacles, it would benefit from a more detailed exposition of the "solutions" identified to overcome these hurdles, rather than merely stating their existence. This could significantly strengthen the practical implications and recommendations of the research, offering clearer pathways for policy and operational improvements for KIP NTB and similar commissions nationwide. Nevertheless, this work provides a solid foundation for understanding the operational dynamics of public information dispute resolution at the provincial level.
