Resumo:O presente artigo pretende mostrar como a análise de Andy Warhol feita por Arthur Danto expõe uma espécie de meta-teoria da própria filosofia de Arthur Danto. Minha hipótese é que Danto usa Warhol para explicar a si mesmo. Arelação entre arte e filosofia - questão fundamental da obra de Danto- corresponde à relação entre o próprio Danto e Andy Warhol. Em última instância, é possível que, por meio da análise dessas relações, possamos entender o nexo entre o fazer artístico e filosófico em nosso tempo, apontando para novas compreensões tanto da arte quanto da filosofia.Palavras-chave: Arthur Danto. The relation between art and philosophy -- fundamental question of Danto's work -- corresponds to the relation between Danto himself and Andy Warhol. Ultimately, it is possible that, through the analyses of these relations we understand the link between the artistic and philosophical work in our timing pointing to new comprehensions both art and philosophy.Keywords: Arthur Danto.
